Clive qualified with Honours from the University of Bristol in 1971. Following further postgraduate study with training posts in Bristol and London, he gained his Fellowship in Dental Surgery of the Royal College of Surgeons of England in 1975. He then taught dentistry at the University of British Columbia for four years before returning to London in 1980 to take over the family practice. His father was a dental surgeon as was his grandfather, who joined a practice in Sloane Street established around 1860.
Having run his own dental practice in the West End for thirty years, Clive joined Holford Partners in 2011. He believes working as a general dentist within a group of specialists to be not only intellectually stimulating but also in the best interests of his patients.
Undertaking a wide range of treatments he is committed to the philosophy of prevention of dental disease and the development and preservation of a functional dentition. He believes in conserving as much tooth tissue as possible and runs an efficient recall maintenance programme.
With experience of treating several generations of large numbers of families over many years he is happy to treat patients of all ages from the very young to the very old.
Clive is a member of the British Dental Association and of the British Society of Periodontology. |
